D.R.I. To Embark On North American Tour

D.R.I. have announced plans to resume their 20th Anniversary Tour in May. According to the band, they will be "starting in California, and will be playing across the top of the country, to the East Coast. Once there, we jump around the Northeast. We won't be making it back down south again on this one. Maybe in summer or fall."

May 11 - Columbus, OH @ Newport Music Hall
May 12 - Buffalo, NY @ The Showplace
May 15 - Philadelphia, PA @ Trocadero Balcony
May 16 - Worcester, MA @ The Palladium
May 17 - Poughkeepsie, NY @ The Chance
May 18 - Asbury Park, NJ @ Stone Pony

In other news, "there is some truth" to rumors that D.R.I. and the MISFITS are tentatively planning a U.S. tour together in the summer, according to D.R.I.'s official web site. D.R.I. are also "trying to work out the details that will put [them on the road] with the DEAD KENNEDYS down in Costa Rica this November." More information is expected in the coming weeks.
